I just had my rear quarter-panel replaced due to a off road encounter with a tree. Got it home and realized the hood and most of the truck is covered with over spray. The hood feels like it was shot with primer. :{ I could not get the over spray off with my buffer and wax.

Can the finish be fixed by buffing it out? OR Did they screw up my paint job by not properly covering the truck when they painted it?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Try one of the Clay products like Clay Magic or Mothers clay bar at your auto parts store,it worked for my truck with heavy overspray

Take it back and have them fix it. Unacceptable. They'll probably have to clay bar to remove it, and based on a similar experience I had with a black car, it'll take a lot of time and effort to get it all.
