Two more questions on my new 04

Is there a source for body side molding kits for the '03? I've found sites that list rolls of side molding but I'd like to get the factory parts or equal to. Dodge doesn't have a kit yet and by the piece is pretty steep. My white and silver truck looks like it's missing something without it. If no source exists, I'll splurge for the Dodge price.

These are the PN's for the 03 Trucks from Dodge.

These are for Dodge (Unpainted ABS plastic - Factory)

I just installed on my 04.

Great! They quoted me $265. 00 last January but said a kit would likely be out later. No kit but apparently the price has come down alot. I'll order them tomorrow. Thanks!

If you look at my truck in the Readers rig, I added chrome door spears. My rig is a different color but it is an option to think about. I bought them on ebay for around $100.

I thought about some chrome. I think with mine being white/silver with black accents, black looks better. Darker colors look better with chrome or body color. It's all about creating some depth or contrast. Whatever the truck is missing. Just my ever so humble opinion. I picked up and installed the black molding today. I really like the contrast it gives it. Now my truck has some character!

I got some of those factory black mouldings from a guy on Ebay... ... . they were $ 100. Also got an extra set of rear door mouldings for $48 for the bed section just aft of the rear door. I have a long bed and they look good on it. :D

Will have some updated pics by tonight. After all the butterflies of "what if I screw it up and they look all mis-aligned" they look great. I wiped the area with a damp alcohol and water rag. Then I taped them on with masking tape, looked from all different angles, adjusted as needed, then made outline marks with an erasable marker to outline the ends and middle. It worked out great and they're perfectly straight.

Steve: the body moldings do look good on your truck. It does break up the white and silver to make it contrast together. Mine is solid white with the body molding already factory installed, the neighbor across the street from me has the same truck, except his 2wd and a six-speed without the moldings. That black does accent the looks a lot, as far as I'm concerned. Now get you some painted ventshades, I painted mine myself (white) and they turned out good, real nice when it's raining or keeping the interior from being like a pressure cooker inside on those hot days. Eye brow kit may be next for me. :p
