On my '00 LWB I installed the '99 long bed piece between the cab & rear wheels & the '99 short bed piece behind the rear wheels - PER the article in TDR. Cost was ~$100 & it looks much better. Check out MCrossley's page www.Ramtaz.com for before & after pics of his truck. Mine's the same minus the cab clearance lights.

I bought a reel of molding from Genos to do my long bed. Looks way better and protects the bed as I back in parking spaces a whole lot of the time.

I have a 2001 short bed Quad Cab and as everybody knows for some reason the moulding stops at the edge of the cab. I went to my local dealer and checked the length of the moulding on the 99 models that goes between the rear wheel well and the cab, it also fits behind the wheel well to the bumper,its close but it does fit,the part#is 55076891AA list price is 24. 97 each but you should be able to get it cheaper. The truck now looks finished with moulding all the way down the side.
