Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I need to replace both front body supports on my '97 2500 Extended Cab, diesel truck. I got two estimates and would gladly pay someone to do the job but after talking with five different body shops it seems everyone is either too busy or not interested. So it looks like I'll be doing this myself.
The biggest problem for me is finding the two supports. Both of the estimates have the same numbers for the two supports, #55274926 (Right) and #55274927AB (Left). The problem is I can't find a place to order the parts. The two shops that gave me written estimates didn't seem to think they would have a problem getting the parts.
Can anyone give me a place where I can purchase these parts?
Does anyone have experience in doing this job that can give me some tips on how to make the repair?
