What happens when you mod till your sick?

A friend of mine just bought a 2005 QC 4x4 with only 12K on it and it has:

  • Custom Bumpers
  • De Badged
  • Leveled with Springs
  • Bigger Tires
  • Rear Winch
  • TST
  • Edge
  • Gauges
  • High Ram
  • E Brake
  • Exhaust
  • Fuel Tank Filters

Just to name a few and I am sure there is more on it for waay below book value.

With that much in that short of time the original owner must have been on TDR.

Will he-

A- Buy another and start over

B- Buy another and never mod again

C- Not even replace it and admit himself to bombers anonymous

Honestly that's not much.

I dodnt see any turbo upgrade, transmission upgrade, fuel system upgrades, Injectors, Rims, real lift, audio

I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER happens, there lots of reasons, maybe bought a mega cab, lost his job, had a child, etc.

It doesnt seem like much to me nowdays. Nowdays guys seem to trade up every 3 years...

I did the same thing with my dmax. . It was lifted, full suncoast, and lots of toys. . It ran 13. 7's on 35's and 14. 1 on 39's. . I traded it in with miles in the 40's for a new dodge dually to match my new race truck. . That dually now runs low 13's on diesel only and can still tow the equipment. . It was actually running high 13's with just a few thousand miles. . It now has around 26,000. Playing with diesel vehicles is about all I do. . I'm still single with no kids, so I just enjoy going fast in a diesel. . My current project is a TDI Beetle. I bought the car just a few weeks ago, and I've spent almost as much in new parts as the original cost of the whole car. . It will stand out at the track though. . haha. . It's just an addiction. .

It did have Audio and was a Laramie, forgot that and it may very well have had a clutch, turbo & injectors, I just wasn't looking that close. To me it just seemed like allot in 12K miles only to let it go for less than he could have got with none of those mods.

The buyer is a happy camper thats for sure.
