I hope you kicked the PSD owners butt at basketball afterwards #ad

Rob, do you think that guy standing behind you had your personal safety in mind or something else? You gotta watch out for those PSD types #ad

LMAO!

Vaughn... the guy in the pic is John Ezzo... has a 2001ETH. We did an E Brake on his after finishing the PSD. I think the PSD owner was around the corner of the house, peeing his pants about me under his hood with that pry bar!

Thought maybe you were trying to "shoe-horn" in a Cummins #ad

YEEEEEHAAAA!!

On a side note, I let the PSD owner drive my Ram into town for parts. . (sawzall blades!) and he came back with a big grin on his face. Says he loved the way it drove and the way the six speed shifts!
(I should have had a hidden cam on it to see if he hot-rodded!)

We BOMBed a PSD yesterday in my driveway. The first PSD I have worked on.

What a PITA! No room to work on anything. The bolt holding the transmission dipstick in place is next to impossible to get out, and worse to get back in. Had to use a 6ft prybar on it!

It looks like it was a good thing you had the high tech tools available. #ad

I thought the hoop was for catching him after falling off the Powerpuke trying to do the mods,,Or could it be to slam dunk the Powerpuke owner for being so silly for buying a Furd in the first place,,One would only have to wonder??????

How much did the downpipe help?? My roomate has a PSD with that pipe that looks like a forklift ran over it at the factory lol.
Clark

Badfish... the downpipe is alleged good for 8-15HP, but more importantly, it should allow the engine to breathe better prior to installing a chip. If you do this, I would recommend trying it without removing the transmission dipstick... that was the biggest PITA!

I helped a friend install a downpipe in his ford delivery truck. He said he gets an extra day between filling his fuel tanks. He doesn't bother to check his milage, he has to burn it regardless of whether it's good or not.

I will let my Roommate know that thanks guys. BTW his is a 5-speed like diesels should be #ad
or 6.
Did the truck get louder?? We recently removed the cat and straight piped his truck(95 PSD 1 ton Crew Cab) and its quite!!! Quite as all hell, it just has alot more turbo whistle now and the floorboards don't get hot when towing. I imagine that POS downpipe is crunched, smashed, and twisted to the point it would act as a muffler LOL.
Clark

Bad... this PSD did get slightly louder, but more of a deeper tone I think. Hey, with the 5 speed, you wouldn't have to mess with that darn transmission dipstick tube! Nice!

Reminds me of our Cummins engine transport clips that we remove during injector installations. Pry-bar operation and we don't even replace them. Oo I've got two in the garage. Right, Rob #ad
