Has anyone EVER done a dyno comparison... ... . silencer ring/no ring on a BOMBED CTD..... What is the diff?... ... ... ... . Wondering why I'm asking such a D. A. question? I'll tell ya why... ... ... It looks like the silencer ring provides a funnel effect directing air into the turbo..... I know Iknow..... it sounds better w/o it... ... . that's not the question sound is not horse power it's testosterone. For you guys that have Harleys... ... . The S & S carbs... ... . notice the neat funnel they have on the inside of the shiny chrome air cleaner... ... ... 3-5 HP... ... ... ..... I've got my ring out but with the right info... ... ..... I'll put the STEENKIN" RING back in. Don't get me wrong listening to my truck run = wood. When I do 4" exhaust I'm thinking about straight pipe BABY... ... COME GIT SOME.
