Ok folks,

I just sold my other car so I have some cash handy. I want to add an exhaust kit. The one I found is at http://mufflerandperformance.com/ its the 16gauge 5" monster. Its reasonably priced at 320$. I also need some gauges. I like the isspro white face 2 inchers. I have conflicted feelings on my pod. I checked out the rods pod and that requires a metric assload of work to get right. I am leaning towards a tri gauge pillar mount. The folks at the above url have the gauges and the exhaust. I might be able to get a discount if I buy all the crap at once. I also found cheap gauges at egauges.com

Flower Mound, Tx?

I'm in Richardson

anyhow, I just picked up a 5" system from Jon over the holidays. Haven't installed it yet, but I've held the tailpipe up under the truck, and everything clears nicely! system looks mean! (I've got stacks on the truck right now)

and you can't beat the price! :D

and he's got good prices on gauges and stuff... if my truck didn't already have gauges, I'd buy from him.

I think Jon's got a better price, and I'm not sure if Rip offers a 5" system.

if you buy a system from Jon, lemme know, I might be able to pick it up for you to save on shipping. I'm back and forth between here and OKC all the time! :D

Yes Rip does 5" exhaust's they just aren't listed on his website I believe. However Rip is going to tell you that you don't NEED 5" exhaust unless your over 500HP which is the truth.

well, on their website, BigExhaust lists their 5" for around $500... my 5" system from Jon was $330, and I was able to pick it up from his shop in person, so no shipping. mean lookin' system! I can't wait to install it :D

yes, you don't need 5" till you're over 500, but a 4" system is only ~$30 less, and you and I both know nobody ever says to themselves, "ok, I think I'm done with the modifications now" I got the 5" so that when I run twins, I won't have to buy a new system! :p (the sound and visual appeal NEVER crossed my mind ;) :p )
