I have a lawn mower with a 2002 Kubota D-905 1. 0L 3 cylinder diesel engine.
I am wating to make about 10 more HP with it, any ideas? I have looked at the injector pump and have not noticed any adjustments other than low idle and hight idle speed adjustments...
Took apart one of the injectors to see if I could modify anything on them; however I am not real sure of what kind of damage I could cause by drilling out the injector nozle (seems to be a standard blow off injector set up)... .
I know that Kubota makes an engine called the D1005-E, it is the same engine, just turned up a bit. The D1005-E is making 26HP and 45Lb-FT of TQ VS. mine at 23. 5HP and 41LB-FT of TQ. How are they making the extra power?
Is there a way to turn up the pump? (I may be over looking it
)
Can I cause damage by tampering with the injector?
Thanks for any ideas... And please don't think I am crazy for wanting to BOMB my mower! Oo. :-laf
