Finally made the plunge... Installed 275 injectors, an EZ and boost elbow, an AFE air filter a PDR HX 35 turbo and a 4" exhaust.

So far no problems with the temps and it does have some additional power but not as much "off the line" as I had hoped. The most noticeable increase is as the truck shifts from 3rd to OD. It definitely pulls harder. I was told to expect about 25 psi boost. I have had it up to 32.

I was hoping to be able to retain the my 255/85 tires without having to go the 410 route by adding some fuel and air but it looks like I'll have to go back to 245/75s or get a set of 410's to get the off the line torque I want.

It would be a lot cheaper to just go with bigger injectors. NO need for wimpy tires and a gear swap.

Try some Mach 3s and see if THAT doesn't cure your off-the-line problem:rolleyes:

I have no complaints whatsoever regarding "off the line" performance with my setup (we tow a 36' 5th wheel that puts us at 21,180 lbs GCW versus 21,500 lbs GCWR. ) I suspect your situation may have more to do with the "soft" stock torque converter in your automatic transmission than anything else.
