I am curious how many of you with Bombed Trucks have State Mandated Emissions testing?

How do your upgrades effect your ability to pass the test?

Do yu have to remove or disconnect anything?

What upgrades effect emissions testing the most (in a bad way)?

Utah has diesel emissions testing & I have added a couple of upgrades this year.

Thanks,

Emissions

In Washington state we too have Emissions Testing. My friends of the NW Bombers told me to slowly roll into the throttle to build up a little boost first then do a quick snap about 1\2 of a peddle, like I have an agg under the peddle.

My truck is barely bombed at all (EZ) but I can still throw a bit of smoke. My opacity level was almost non-existant as to what was allowed.

Good luck,

Clay :D

If, like me, you're running an EZ, smoke (opacity) can be greatly reduced by just unplugging the EZ's CANbus data port connector. Leave the MAP cables plugged up so that the EZ is acting as a boost fooler.
