Doing the torque converter and the valve body deal.
I found out today that the autos have a bum bushing and a crappy bearing and some funky seals so I decided to do the deed. Local shop, 8 miles away, 1800 bucks, 3 days and I will be on my way.
Two year, unlimited mile warranty and this man says and I believe him 95% of his customers have gotten over 100000 miles on them and some over 200000 miles.
A new found friend told me all about this place today, he had them do his transmission and he picked up 5 yes 5 miles per gallon. Boy that is huge. But his transmission was going south quick.
I will report back in and give you all the updates.

BTW, the truck has only 2481 miles on it.
