Bombing Wipers

A friend of mine who plows snow with me installed heated wipers on his PSD. I didn't get a good look at the whole system but he says they work great. It keeps the snow and ice build up down so your wipers actually clean the windshield instead of chattering over it. Anyone have these or seen them?

gotta have a set. That has been my one complaint with every truck I have ever owned. I have to have the defrost on full blast to keep the windshield warm and the wipers from freezing. Then I have to roll my window down a little to cool off. Ran into this on my GMC, my 2 Ford's and now my Dodge.



Have you ever seen the guy driving down the rode, trying to reach out his window to grab his wipers so that he can bounce them off the windshield and knock the ice off, while driviing?

The only problem I can see is that these types of wipers would increase any wipers inherent tendency to lift off the windshield at highway cruising speed. (based on the pictures at www.hotwipers.com )



That's my biggest complaint with any winter wiper..... at 75+mph, you're lucky they're even hitting the windshield at all.
