Injectors are not able to be detected by the dealer, unless you have an injector problem and they need to swap a couple. If it were me, I'd find an extra set on Ebay and get those done. That way you still have your stockers if you need 'em.

I did the ebay route for injectors, I had bad luck as they where not good. As for testing them before installing ,that would have been an a good decision after the fact!

But all that being said, I would look at upgrading my own tips. I would go to a shop you trust, get them to pull your injectors and get them done, then reinstall.

Good luck on what ever route you take.

Probably the best thing to do, if you can afford to have your truck down for that long.

Its All On The Dealer

I have the edge juice with att and a couple other things and this huge azz exhaust 6in from my door back its all 6inch i brought my truck to the dealer with a cracked vavle body and they fixed it no qestions asked i brought it in after i got off the dyno. and the only qestion was i got is where did you find that exhaust. Now my friend on the other hand did something to the same effect has juice and they didnt fix it. SO all and all its like lotto. But im goin to tell you one thing a other truck stang camaro is going to pull up for a race and you going to wish you did it cause theres nothing funnier then taking a 9000lb truck and putting the smack down leaving them  and you :-laf :-laf :-laf

JCleary almost has me convinced to go with the TST PMCR. I'd love to just be able to pull up beside all these little rice burners with their huge wings and really annoying exhaust, and just leave them in a huge cloud of smoke!!!! :-laf

Hey JCleary, Does the PMCR have built in gauges, or would I need to install a set? What is the difference in the R47 and R49 remotes? How hard was it to install and about how long did it take? Did your fuel mileage get any better? I honestly dont know much about the TST... I have just been stuck on the Edge. I tried to go to the TST website but for some reason my computer keeps telling me that there is a network error.

Van_Blom, Wouldn't they be able to see that I have different injectors, or would I just need to remove them? How much does a set of 50 hp Injectors run?

Dynomite Diesel hones your stock injectors so everything still looks stock. Lenny showed me the difference between stock and honed injectors (before and after) thru a bore scope he uses to check his work. BIG difference. He flow tests and balances your injectors so they all put out the same amount of fuel. supprisingly, the stockers vary quite a bit. my truck now idles smoother (I didn't know it was rough) and the mileage went up about . 5 mpg on an economy run. Trouble is, I cant keep my foot out of it and the tires are suffering. :D Give Lenny a call at Dinomite Diesel Performance. He's a good guy. And no, I don't work for them :D

I did the Dynomite route as well, and I too noticed my truck is much quitier at an idle, infact I just think it runs better period. They also did mine the day after getting them and shipped them that afternoon, fantastic service.
