I went back to the future from a 04 back to a 97 black dually 3500. Its my keeper truck.



However, I will have to admit I stopped at the Cody dealer last Friday to eyeball the 07 C&C with the Aisin. Oo.



Ended up buying land in Ididaho instead :-laf

I too went to a 3rd Gen and back to the 2nd Gen. Just like the looks better and the truck has more personality and diesel feel. But I do miss the '03 sometimes.

What kind of wheels are on the new truck? They look like Alcoas from here. I love my truck, it does everything I ask of it very well. But when towing my 5th-wheel, I'd be quite happy to have a 2wd, 1-ton, long bed.

Glad to hear you'll get back on in the CTD fold soon. I too had a '98 CDT and sold it for a 2006 Ford which I HATED. I just traded that for an '06 CDT and I'm not looking back.

Grizzly, you might be right, but I'm hoping that enough weight in the bed will kinda compensate..... I don't plan on going off-road with it.
