Got there almost too late, pulled after 50 + street gassers and stock diesels, they had a pull off, then us. 7 trucks, I was last.
A nice running CTD went out the gate, the others did about 220-250.
I came to the line, and it was all right foot and R's, trying to build boost with the leak. Finally, she hit 60#, and I took off, suffocating the flag lady in a monstrous cloud of smoke.
She screamed down the track, and at about 260, the first boot in line blew, and I coasted 20 more feet.
It was a good run, and I solved some issues, even while presented with many more.
I also talked to Bruce Mallison, owner , Diesel Injection of Pittsburgh, for a bit. Great guy. He was responsible for my first 300 hp.
Another high point was the gasser guys offering tools and trailers to get me home.
An owner of a very HOT 460 Ford even said,"I like your truck. "
