Boost Cooler Install ?'s

Looking for advice from those who have done the snow performance "Water Methanol Injection" system. The system I got was called the "Cummins Package"



1. Is it alright to install the pump on the frame just below the washer reservoir? I don't see any other place in the area to mount to without having to fabricate some type of bracket.

2. How do You tap into the stock reservoir and still be able to use the windshield washers?

3. Any other good advice You can give me? I'm doing the install Saturday if I don't work too late.

P. S. I just did a spell check and it didn't like the way I spelled cummins. I would think the TDR would at least get this added to the word list!!!

Elmer, there are a few places to mount that pump and one is were you mentioned, the other is on the pass side in the same place but you might want to check you hose length and make sure you have enough for that far away. The fitting that Matt gives you for the tank is nice, put the hole between the windshield washer pickup and the low water light and you will have the tank off for the install, now make a hole big enough for the threaded part of the fitting and install it from the inside using the hose to thread it through (like a needle) then install the nut using GOOP that you can get from any hardware store to seal it, GOOP will not break down from the Methanol, you can do what you want but here is a pic how I have mine done in the hat.



Sorry about the instructions, Matt and I were talking yesterday and he is making them up specifically for the Dodge and I'll review them for him.

Thanks for the reply Jim. I haven't opened all of the fittings yet, but it sounds simple enough.
