I know similar questions have been asked before, but I'd like some recommendation for gauges.

I have used the westach combo gauge before and liked it, so I'd like to get another one, and in addition a fuel pressure gauge and use the dual hole pillar mount.

Which fuel pressure gauge would go along well with the westach, do I need that "grease hose" for connecting it, and does it matter what size thermocouple I get?

This is all for my recently acquired 2001.

I personally use an Hewet Pyro gauge just because it is used in avation applications (a little mental game here with myself).

For my fuel pressure and boost I use ISSPRO gauges. I like the way they look, are easy to read at night, and are mechanical. Electrical gauges tend to die with diesel fuel and vibration. For a connection hose, I used a hydraulic hose (3000psi), which I know will never leak.

I'm running ISSPRO EV series Boost and EGT. I have tried Autometers on another truck and they were not nearly as easy to see although they did function flawlessly. This is the 2nd truck that I have installed ISSPRO products in and I have no complaints.

Good Luck,

Mike

I personally have all of my gauges from Westach, just because I am one of those picky kind that couldn't stand to have any gauges that didn't match, and I wanted an eletric FP gauge that didn't cost an arm and a leg. You could defintely get the dual pillar with the combo gauge and the FP and not have a problem that I can see. I just didn't care for the combo, I'm cross-eyed enough without trying to read on of those:) I got a set up for running the FP gauge from one of the members on here, which included everything you needed to hook it up and all, but I can't remember who it was. I'll go do some research, and figure it out, or I guess you can get the set up through Geno's now? Hope this is what you was looking for, James
