boost elbow question

,it says to use the supplied boost elbow in the kit. my turbo has the solid line to the wastegate. what can i do to solve this problem?

Do you HAVE to ust the elbow? i am putting on a 4" jardine exaust,won't that be enough to lower the egts? or is the elbow needed for more boost? thanx!

In order to "pyshically" defeat the wastegate you have to use an elbow to see an increase in boost, which in turn will lower EGT's. If you don't have a boost module to defeat the "computer" as well then it will set a code and engine will defuel at 20psi. <font size=-2>
