Boost Elbow?

What is it? What does it help and where can i get one? I was reading some on TST's website and they said something about a boost elbow to help increase boost. I have a Six Gun and some other mods and i am only making about 28 PSI max and would like more. Any suggestions.

I have had the boost elbow on for over a year now. I can hit 39lbs of boost no problem. Yesterday I put the stock elbow back on to try it and 26 lbs is the max I can pull. I'll run this way for a while to see how the mpg does. if its better i'll live with the lower boost.

The boost elbow on the TST setup is a little brass 90degree elbow. It sits between the engine(attached like a boost gauge) and the wastegate so that the wastegate knows when to activate based on boost level. When you bomb the elbow it fools the wastegate into thinking you are generating less boost than reality. This allows you to achieve higher boost like 37PSI before the wastegate opens. I'm not sure if the Banks kit has the same elbow.

My 04 Low output runs great with the Edge, but less responsive and seemingly less horsepower with the modified Elbow... I took it off. . Marty

without my boost elbow, EGT's get out of sight really fast! I'm running 34-35 at wot and am happy.
