Boost Elbow

Just bought a Blue Box will I need a Boost Elbow?

Probably not, but it depends on a few things. Like which box did ya get? Was it three wires or four wires?



I ran my three wire blue box for about a year without a boost module or an elbow. I have since added the Blue Chip "boost fooler" and had an elbow installed. (this comes with the 4 wire box).



A few months ago, I installed a Banks BigHead exhaust housing that you can set the amount of boost you want before the wastegate opens.



I am not sure why I never set an overboost code at first. If you don't have the four wire box, overboost codes would not be uncommon.
