Yep that is where mine is just set the waste gate up haw we discussed and you should be OK. What housing do you have on the big turbo.

Blair.

This ported head sure screwed me up. I had it running perfect except for 34 max on boost. When I changed the head it screwed up my bottom end. Nothing until 20 lbs of boost. I'm almost tempted to go back to the single and get everything set up again. Then put the twins back on. I was told the porting wouldn't hurt my bottom end. I hope it's just a fuel thing. Oh it's a 23 cm>

Ron, I'm with Blair on the 55, but the ported head shouldn't have hurt the bottom end..... she just needs a little tweakin'... ... . no box on that puppy... . yee doggie!

I guess Piers is not using the 23 housing for the towing twins anymore. It is back to the 26. He said that the differences between the two were hardly noticable.

yup, Piers said the 26 was the best all around...

I guess you can just mess w/ the wastegate on the top turbo to decide how much boost and what kind of spool up times you want...

less bypass = quicker spool less boost... more bypass = slower spool more boost

I've got a 22 undivided housing gathering dust if anyone needs one :p

I'm sure it's a fuel thing. I'll figure it out. 23 housing will be fine for 450hp. Maybe even better.

LOL PB that was a good one.

This is the first time I have heard of losing that much bottom end from porting a head. I am not sure the 22 or 23 housing won't work for towing but I am sure I will be changing several things just to see what happens. I am very happy with my setup to this point as a daily driver it works great and I am not to sure how much more boost the stock head gasket with studs can hold. I have run as high as 55 lbs when towing and 70+ empty with no problems so far but I think I am pushing it a bit.

How exactly do you tweak the top turbo for spool up. Do you have to change the springs in the wastegate?

I just made a little intermediate manifold piece between the exhaust manifold and the top turbo. I'm almost done with it. I'll post some pics in my reader's rides soon.

Well it looks like I'm back to a single charger for a while. Looks

like a couple of clearance issues.
