Boost Gauge Connection?

My question is where is it "Best and Simplest" to tie in the boost gauge on a First Gen Cummins? First one of the First Gen I've owned and am doing the complete Gauge install soon. Any help will be great. Thanks

There's a small (1/8" pipe thread) plug in the intake next to the injection pump on my 1998 P pumped engine.
I'd assume your engine would use the same intake.

Patriot is right there is a 1/8" pipe plug on the left side of the head under the intake horn, thats where i hooked mine up at.

Thanks i will check it out tomorrow if it gets warmer than 10 degrees.

Yup. There is a little port just behind the IP along the head ridge. Approx half way back if memory serves.

Out comes plug, in goes elbow for boost tube. Done!
