Can anyone tell me where is the easiest place to run the boost gauge tubing through the firewall on a '98?

Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,
Just run it through the rubber boot you main wiring harness goes through. Easy to pop through there and seals nicely.

I pushed my turbo boost lines though 1/4 poly tubing(avalible at any hardware store)before going through the boot Mike describes. Having the outer sheath of tubing run the entire length the boost tube will keep it from kinking, protect against sharp edges under the dash and rodent bites. My'47 Dodge dump truck had oil pressure tubing similar to boost tubing, started that sucker up one day and had oil spraying all over my legs, took awhile to figure out that mice had chewed thru the oil pressure line. From then on I've used outer protective tubing!

I know you didn't ask, but here goes...

You might consider some nice steel braided line for your boost gauge. It's available from Auto Meter, super tough, won't kink, looks great, and the mice don't like it.
