Just like the title says I was drivnin home 2day from work and was climbin a hill and glanced over and noticed I was at 0psi lol this is the scond time it has done it this week. IE it works sometimes others not, so I was just wonderin what I should be lookin at for causes to the prob since I have the day off of work tomorrow... . So any ideas what so ever would be greatly welcomed by me :D

Check the plastic tube at the intake. The vibration of the engine can wear on it and cause it to break, or make sure it's not kinked somewhere.

I assume you've noticed no difference in power. The intercooler tubes have been know to blow off. Blew mine off comeing over Jelico on I-75 once. Let me tell ya. These trucks have no power without the turbo!

Good Luck

Doug

I 99. 9% sure the tubes r still on runs like a raped ape yet, and i noticed when I would be normally pushin 20+ lbs of boost the needle began to move alil. So maybe the lil plastic tube is shot. It was put on about a year or 2 ago at Scheids diesel show.....

Let me see here, "Running like a raped ape"? Interesting concept... Would that mean runs good or runs bad:confused:

Now, looking from the perspective of the Ape that was raped, I would say it meant bad. However, from the prospective of the Ape that raped... :D it could mean something totally different. Right?

the "raped ape" concept, means it is running great. . if you would like to test. i have a 30psi isspro boost gauge u can try out. i had to change to a 60 after mods.

I'm still havin no luck, it has power to the gauge itself, and couldn't find ne kinks or holes i could see so i'm stumped... I might have to take it to my diesel shop to see what they say I guess????

Sounds like a bad gauge. No boost pressure(leaking boot) = high EGTs and truck runs like poo poo. Unhook the gauge at manifold and put your finger over hole, you should feel air pressure.

Sounds like a faulty gauge to me also, my Autometer Phantom that is only a year old is starting to vibrate over 20 PSI, think I'll see about getting a 60 # gauge next, seeing as how this one is not enough in certain situations!! :D
