I just recieved my isspro boost and pyrometer gauges from Geno's garage. The boost gauge came with a tapped bolt which the directions say to remove one of the intake manifold bolts and replace it with this tapped bolt for the plastic line. I have an 05 325/610 and there is a tapped hole in the front end of the intake manifold that has nothing in it. The tapped bolt for the boost gauge fits in this hole perfectly. Does anyone with a 325/610 know if you can use this hole for that purpose. If so, do you need to remove the intake manifold to punch the hole the rest of the way out or cut a hole in the manifold gasket? I'm assuming the hole would be sealed or you would have an intake leak. Thanks.

Just remove an intake bolt and install the boost bolt. Works like a charm and doesn't hurt a thing. Whatever bolt is most convenient for your install.

I used the bolt directly under the firewall harness. The boost adapter fit better there as the one next in line to the front of the engine has a fuel line too close for a socket to fit on it. Some have used the bolts closer to the front of the engine in front of the intake but the compressor for the pacbrake mounts there so if you might put a pacbrake on later that would be a problem. Directly under the firewall harness is more convienient too for routing the tubing along the harness and drop right down to the fitting. If you are interested in here are photos of egt thermosensor placement on the 325/610.
