Boost gauge valve

Just for everyone's info I found a needle valve to throttle the boost pressure going to the gauges for those having the chattering gauge problem. I searched high and low for a place that sells in the single a 1/8" needle valve and figured I would give MMC a of course they have what I am looking for,



source of supply is Mcmaster-Carr



standard needle valve 1/8" npt female p/n 4995-k11 $9. 44



Quick assembly brass compression tube fitting male straight adapter for 1/8" tube O. D. 1/8" NPTF 2 pack $2. 54



I installed in a short 10 min job, closed valve and opened 3/4 of turn, no more gauge chatter and gauge still responds rapidly.



I figure its cheaper than buying a new gauge. Hope this helps someone.

If you want to skip some fittings Granger has 1/8'' needle valves with the compression fitting on one side. Available with male or female pipe thread on the other side in straight or angle style for $3. 25.

Rats! I check grainger and could not find anything in 1/8", must not of looked deep enough. Thanks for the reply.
