Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) boost gauge

i trying to figure out if this is normal or not. i have an auto meter lunar series boost gauge. with the truck off it shows 2 psi of boost. when i start the truck it stays on 2 psi. the gauge works normal when im driving. is this normal or is the gauge broke? thanks

um it should definetly zero out. autometer has a lifetime warranty usually, but you have to send in the gauge for them to fix it (not cool) My autometer gauge sticks sometimes and I have to wack it to get the needle to move. They wanted me to ship it in for repair, but wouldnt provide a loaner or anything. Cant be without the gauge. . heh
