Boost Guage

Just wondering if anyone can give me information as a new Cummins owner. I have an 03 with the 600, and want to have a boost guage installed. I am wondering where the best place is to mount it (cosmetically), and if is difficult to install. Basically, do I need to have the dealer install it. Lastly, where to I go to find this gauge. Any info you can provide would be helpful. Thanks a lot!

TRaddatz - I don't know much about installing the boost gauge, but I am sure someone will chime in and help you to were you can do the job yourself. Rather than paying alot of money to the dealer. Money for other bombs. Geno's Garage would be a good place to start looking. www.genosgarage.com They have great customer support. At least from my experiences. There are many others out there. Try doing a search. You will get enough info to keep you busy for a long time.

Ps-I personally like the A-pillar mounted gauges better, but thats me.

if all you want is a boost gauge [no exhaust pyrometer] you could buy the dodge ram srt-10 drivers side pillar that has the single gauge pod molded in [it's like $60. 00 or so... search the 3rd gen forums for it] and then go with a boost gauge of your choice. . [the dipricol matches pretty well... , but the pyro doesn't match so well]

The 600 came out very recently, in the 2004. 5 trucks. The 2003 had a 555 engine. That's what my wife's truck has in it.
