Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I have posted this elsewhere but haven't got any bites so am starting a thread to see if ayone knows...
Have a 2006 Mega Cab cummins six speed. Just installed gauges and my boost seems a little wierd. When I hammer it, It jumps up to 30 psi, then flutters down to about 24 or so. Is that normal for this engine? I have real bad turbo surge in my Stroker, but I have that thing turned up 100 hp with a tymar intake and exhaust. my cummins is stock, seems abnormal? Do I have a boost leak? My EGTs hit about 1200-1250 hammering it (pyro between 3-4). That also seems high, and I am concerned after just reinstalling my manifold (yes, broke a tap in the manifold, had to remove the manifold and take it to a machine shop:{ ), that I may have a boost/exhaust leak? Any ideas? Thanks,
