Boost mod and Elbow ?

I've scoured the links and can't find any vendors that mention or list PS Boost MOD and ELBOW. Can anyone help?

PS Boost mod is the "Practical Solutions" boost module, & the elbow replaces a stock fitting at the turbo. Just do a search on Practical Solutions, or Diesel Dynamics & you'll get all the info you need. Good luck.

Basically,

The "elbow" allows you to get alot more boost before the wastegate starts to activate. Stock you're limited to around 20 lbs of boost. The elbow gives somewhere around 32 or higher depending on what mods you have.

The stock cpu (ecm) senses the boost pressure, and if it sees more than 20 lbs it will stop adding fuel to the motor, and also activate an "overboost" error code. This would happen if you add the elbow. Thats the reason people add the "boost module". It doesn't allow the ecm to see anything higher than 20 lbs of boost (even if it is actually way higher than that). That way you can run high boost from the elbow, and the ecm won't know, and will keep adding more fuel.

Hopefully that'll save you some time figuring out the basics.

1500 - 3000 in 4th = 13 sec
VA,1500- 3000 in 4th = 10 sec
275,1500 - 3000 4th = 11. 15 sec
slight mpg increase both ways.
VA+275 ,1500 - 3000 = 9. 0 sec
. 5 or 1. 5 MPG increase over stock. .
PS boost module,100 to 150 lower EGT's, same power.
