Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Boost ? No Spool

Ok when i try to spool up with foot on brakes i get about 8-9 psi then truck starts to surge when i take off it surges for a few seconds then takes off thought it was my trans just put new one in so thats not it thanks Doug

If you have an auto transmission welcome to the world of "Torque management". It will not fuel past a certain point until the computer sees wheel speed.



Next mod to get rid of it is a Smarty.



or a BD rad box.



they both over ride torque management.

thanks i had read about that but i thought it was a little higher than that time to spend some more $$$$$ will the bd or smarty work with my juice i really love the gauges and alerts
