I'm wondering if you can increase the wastegate popoff pressure by turning the adjustment that is in the rod? I want to increase boost psi when I get my injectors without having to put an elbow on it. As you can see by my sig I have an HO.

Thanks in advance.

It works that way for the Schwitzers, so I suppose it should work for the Holset. You'll still need some means of fooling the boost signal to the ECM or she'll defuel from overboost.

Just out of curiosity, why don'tcha want to use an elbow?

A boost elbow bleeds of pressure doesn't it? So knowing that does it make the wastegate flutter? or I'm I over thinking the whole process?

Yep, it's just a calibrated leak, but no, it doesn't cause flutter. It just reduces the amount of pressure that the wastegate actuator "sees", thus causing the 'gate to open later. I ran the one that came with my EZ on my stock turbo with HP ranges from 275-450hp and the peak boost was solid (although a little high with 450 hp worth of fueling). Replacing the elbow sure is a lot easier than adjusting the rod on the wastegate.
