About two weeks ago I posted that I had lost my throttle on my '99 for a few minutes but it came back. Well the problem continued to get worse so I finally found time to get her into the dealer. They found just what you all suspected, faulty APPS. Of corse, part not in stock, must wait two more days for permanate fix. Thats the easy part, now the weird part. Before I took it in I removed the VA box, boost module and elbow. I lost my stock elbow but I had a straight fitting here that was the right size so I put that in with a new piece of 1/4" fuel hose to connect the barbed fitting to the wastegate. I knew that I needed to watch the EGT since the 275 injectors were still there but they were no problem. The problem is I still see 26 lbs. boost! The check engine light didn't come on but did I set an overboost code?

How could the boost go to 26 lbs under stock conditions... . unless the wastegate is not opening????

my truck did the same thing with bully dog stage three injectors, bone stock other wise?? 26psi, but i could feel it de-fuel after 20lbs but it would still climb to 26psi.

don't have a clue as to why? truck must be making that much more power with B-DOG III's.
