HI, I have a question or several questions, I do not have the GSK yet and I can only pull 2500 with my foot through the firewall in 4th and 5th, but in 2nd and 3rd it will pull 3k is this normal? also the boost will go to 32# in 4th and 5th but falls off to 23# after about 2300 rpm. will a GSK fix this? also do I need bigger delivery valves, I think mine are stock but I am not sure, How can I tell?

I do need a new rubber elbow from the intercooler exit side it has a fold in it not real bad but it is not a smooth elbow if you know what I mean. Who makes good replacement elbows.

Also would it be better to go to the 4K PGSK or the 3K PGSK?

what is the dif. other than the obvious rpm? I can always watch the tach!! Yeah, I been bitten Big time!Oo.

Thanks,

George

before the GSK when I would lock out of overdrive my RPMs would get up 3100 or so but with no real power. in overdrive the RPMs would not get that high... . but now it just rips right up to 3200+:D

I wouldnt worry about the elbow unless its really restricting airflow.

Unless you plan on really getting into the raceing thing the 3000 GSK is more than enough, it will feel like a new truck:D

with the 4000 you will have to get heavy duty exaust springs at least... Ive heard the valves can start to float above 3200.

I have the 4K set and havnt floated the valves yet and hit 3600 today, I dont do it very often but its nice to have it there when you want it, like Mustang GTs with attitudes hehe.

Hi Deezul,

Do you have the stock valve springs in your truck?

How many miles on your truck, I have 130k. another Question can my p7100 with plate and gsk work as well as a 215 with the same mods? should I change the delivery valves? If so what DV should I go with?

Mustangs with attitude!

I have a couple of them too:D

Thanks

George

Hey George

I have the stock valve springs and 150,000 on the motor. You will always have some limitations with your pump that arnt present with the 215 pump but Cumminsgetme is making way more HP than I am with his 160 pump so it can be done but he has spent a lot of time testing and changing things too. He is very good with these pumps, he made mine run way better than before he worked on it so maybe PM him and see what he has to say. It kinda depends on whether you want to spend money on your pump od pop for a 215 pump, if the budget permits I would go with the 215 as the limits are way higher wth that one.

Good Luck

John
