What are some of you getting for Boost #'s with the DDUFM and DD stage 2 injectors? I have reached on level 5 up to 37 lbs. Just for comparison.

Thanks Kent

I have yet to get over 31 psi with my DD3's and UPM on 5/5, but that's because my HX-40 is having issues with its wastegate that DD hasn't figured out yet.

I'm getting to the point of dropping to DD1's and going back to the HX-35.

BTW, what are your EGTs like with your injector/box combo?

Rob

My EGT's on 5 can get up there if I stay into it for very long, and that is with only an empy tall topper that I can stand up in. It does catch a lot of wind. I will be towing my 9,000 lbs. camper this weekend and will know more about the EGT's then. I will also be leaving in a few more days for Or. from NC. Then I will a lot about it. I'll try to post more after the towing.

Kent

The only time I use Level 5 is when I'm wasting some poor POS truck/SUV/whatever. The rest of the time, mine stays in Level 1/Response 1 (full de-fuel mode) because it's the only time I get anything resembling fuel economy.

My EGTs do okay considering the HX-40 needs a lot of power to drive it... I probably don't need it even with DD3's, because I tow in 1/1 (might sometimes use 2/1 but it's extremely rare). The injectors add more than enough power for getting a max-GCWR load uphill at a reasonable speed.

Rob

I also may be slipping the clutch some in the 4 and 5 setting. Never should have gone with a centerforce. Maybe the upgraded hub will be better then the one that I have in it. Don't know if they hold any more power or not but they are suppose to be stronger and not come apart.

Kent

At least you have more clutch choices than I do. There are only three for the ETH, and one has major issues (the McLeod) and from what I'm told, the other one besides the one I have is extremely grabby and makes the truck very unpleasant to drive. I'm to the point of trying to find an Allison 1000 from a wrecked GM/Duracrap truck to put in because it's just no fun to drive anymore.

i have the dd2's and edge comp box and i only get 31psi also. it doesn't matter if i i have the comp on level one or five. before i put on my hx-40 i still got 31psi. a good friend of mine with the eth has dd3's and an ez with the hx-40 he only see's 32psi. i believe some of it might be the eth's. i have my turbo's wastegate turnbuckled shut, it can't open.

as far as your southbend i have the con-fe feramic clutch and i love it!! very little chatter and no slipping yet. what clutch do you have?

I have a Centerforce, Blue ChIP is supposes to be sending me a replacement with the stronger hub. But so far nothing in the UPS truck yet  , but they say they are waiting for Centerforce to send the replacement to them. Centerforce has inproved them twice and I hope the replacement is better then the first one, and that it holds up the the HP that I have. Its fun to play once in a wile with the power when there is limited passing time.

I hit 38 lbs. of boost today, cant leave it at WOT for very long without EGT getting too high. But it is fun while it lasts. Going to tow with it tonight. 9000 lbs. camper and about a ton in the truck. Pulled good with just the DD2's Can't wait to get it on the road. Wish I was going to go over mountains. I'll get that in a week or so, I leave NC and go to OR. Plenty of hills on that trip.
