Boost With EZ ?

I went from a max of 18-19 lbs boost to 28-29 with the EZ. (running empty) Does this seem about normal. ?

I can get 28 psi here where I live, but last weekend driving through the mountains in eastern Virgina and southern West Virgina I could only get around 26 psi--must be the elevation.

Maybe you can get a little more

I didn't see an air filter mentioned in your signature, if you are running stock, you might pick up a few #'s of boost. I was getting 31 psi using an Amsoil air filter. I didn't like the turbo whine and whistle, so I went to the BHAF, and lost most of the whine and whistle, and gained boost to 33# under heavy load uphill.



the main benefit from the extra boost seemed to me to be reduced EGT. There really wasn't any big change in the seat of the pants power when I did the mod to the boost elbow, and went from 19# to 31#.



I sure love the new found EZ power!

Me too, when I had the ez alone, max boost was 28 Psi's.

Hey, guys, I am just getting into this stuff, so could you explain this EZ. Just what is it, and how hard is it to put on. Also where can you get it. Bob

Edge products EZ

BBean, if you have a 24Valve engine, the injection pump is computer controled. The EZ box plugs into the existing engine computer wiring using existing factory plugs, and changes the injection timing and quantity.

There are other products that do the same things, but the EZ seems to be the most popular. Mine took 3 min. to install, then I did the boost elbow a day or two later, this took about 30 min.

The edge products EZ box makes the Cummings engine feel like it should!! much better response, and power.
