Bored during the Winter - Pics of our resto

So I am extremely bored during the winter(well besides classes) and with my Oil burner put up for the winter it makes it even worse. I thought I would post some pics of the progress with our Skylark resto. The engine is completely done and ready to roll, the front clip is off of the car and we are gonna start working on it.

It looks good. It would appear that you found something to do. Over here in ASHLAND I have removed a load of stuff from the wife's truck engine 1990 Ram 5. 9 Turbo diesel and ahve painted the components and cleaned/prep the engine block for paint. Getting a fresh coat of gloss black along with a new turbo and a refined injection pump. New belt/hoses etc.



I don't have any pics loaded yet to post them up on the boards.



I never really had a love affair with V-8 gas engines... ... . I like the john Deere Two-Cylinder (gas) engines alright but not the V-8 kind. Just don';t care for V engines.



hey, why not take a trip down to Dayton to check out some REAL gas engines at the Air Force Museum!!!!!!

The wife had the upper hand. She is the boss. She's bigger then I. Strong like ox. Stong like Zina.



She ahhh... . cornered me... and ahhhhh... ... held my face in the cat litter box untill I relented. She told me she wanted to see better lower end/quicker spool-up and ah... ... ... ... ... ..... ah... . more smoke. Yeah, thats it.

Thanks Scott. There is just something about muscle cars that gets me. I grew up going to car shows and messing around in the garage w/my dad so I think its in my blood. Dont get me wrong I love my diesel, but a Cummins in a 70 Skylark just doesnt do it for me like a big block Buick does
