BORES Bumper Guides

Installed a set of Bores bumper guides on the truck today. No instructions so i made them up as i went. i needed to purchase some washers to build the bottom of the guide out so it stood perfectly straight when attached. (I'm a little nuerotic when it comes to things being straight). The guides are top quality stainless steel-i was impressed. they have a yellow/orange light on top which illuminates with parking lights and blinks with blinker. a small problem was the guide has two wires on it and my y2k has three wires into the parking light assembly. for any one who cares the first wire (black) is a common ground and you don't need it. the second wire (black with yellow stripe) is steady marker light. this keeps the guide light on steady when truck lights are on. the third wire (green with brown stripe) makes the guides light blink with trucks blinker. Figuered i'd write that all out for somebody in the future. total install took 45 minutes minus the time to the hardware store for the washers but including the time for four rolling rocks. Anyway guides look awsome.

i got them on-line at tpcarguy.com . they are the original BORES. top quality item except what little directions there were stunk. took about four days to arrive at my door.
