I have a stock box an shaft. Which i have a clunk i feel in my steering. (145000 miles) I'm thinking of going to the Borgeson Box and Shaft. I see that they are back out there. Genos has them. Has anyone used them on there truck and what are your thoughts?? this is for my 2nd Gen Dually

Thanks Ed

I just had an injection pump installed and while in there had the Borgenson Box installed. seems all the rebuilds from the fast food auto part place are hit and miss mostly miss on good steering pumps.

So what I'm getting is your saying Borgeson is a good box?

I had a Borgeson box and shaft in my 97. It was great at first but within a year the box developed a lot of slop, to the point it wasn't any better than the factory box it replaced. I also tried a PSC rebuild, it was even worse. Unfortunately I don't think there's any magic fix to replace a second gen steering box, it seems to be a roll of the dice. I sold the truck before I ever found a good one.

Geno's will cut a vendor if there are problems with their products, or if the vendor is updating/upgrading products, until problems are resolved / upgrades completed. Geno's will not sell something they can't stand behind. They actually do help too, call and chat with them they'll help figure out (to an extent) what could resolve, or provide vendor's Tech support. Never had a problem with anything I got from Genos.
