Archived borgeson shaft

well i took off my shaft to cut the end off of the steering box and so while it is off, i am trying to put in zerks. someone on here said that they installed a zerk on the lower shaft. i am drilling and now i think the shaft is solid?



anyone know anything about this?

Per an engineer I spoke with at Borgeson (sp), it is not necessary to cut the "tip' off the end of the splined shaft coming out of the steering box/gear, they also have the zerks where they are necessary. I think I would give them a ring, before modifying their design, as you might have a warranty station issue on your hands.

there are no zerks on their shaft. .





this is the reason i will put a flaming river on next time... ...
