I have had this clunck in the front for a while, That I only noticed at slow speeds while backing up. After adding the DSS and 3rd gen track bar conversion I noticed the factory steering shaft was loose, so I got a borgesson shaft. Also got the column bushing fix cause I swore that was loose too when I checked, But when I removed the stock shaft the column was tight as new so I didn't install the column bushing for now. I will keep it for future use.

I read of borgessons locking up so I drilled and installed a grease zerk in it and filled the top portion completely full of grease to keep the elements out.

After the install the clunk was still there. I had to adjust the steering wheel because the borgesson made steering wheel 1/4 turn off. While readjusting it I noticed the tie rod ends would clunk if turned by hand while I was doing the adjustment I centered the one on the pitman arm and the other end on passenger wheel before I tightened up the adjuster and all be darned if the clunck went away.

All along it was the tierod ends hitting there rotational limit and causing the clunk while axle moved up and down.

Hope this will be something others will check before spending 300+ like me. But I now have a tighter steering shaft. :)
