I got quotes from the 2 other places listed on this post and prices were $360 and $380 for 275HP injectors... . These are $275 no core... . and 300HP injectors. Sounds like a good deal to me if they're what they say they are... ... Thoughts?

EDIT: A little research makes me think that these are 275's...

BTW E... .

... is the Bosch part number for 275's according to dodgeram. info

See link: http://dodgeram.org/tech/dsl/ISB/injector_replace.htm

The going rate for Bosch RV275 injectors is 275. 00 and no core charge.

The ebay listing is still misleading by calling the Bosch RV275 injector a 300HP injector.

same part number as Bosch. I've worked with Tim on this 300 claim and it is BS

Has anybody had any issues passing emissions using just the 275 injectors, or are you reinstalling the stock injectors in order to pass.

Since you all are talking about the 275's... I figured ya'all would like to see a very comparable product at a highly competitive price.

Here's the website...

I bought injectors for my VW TDI from Charlie and he's a top notch guy offering what I'd consider a very good buy. The Bosio injector nozzles I got for my TDI were some of the best I have ever seen and the difference it made in that little car was astounding.

Contact Charlie for more info... I just happened to browse on by his website and noticed that he is offering injectors for the Cummins ISB's...

How would injectors work with an EZ? Do you add the hp gains from both the injector and the box? I mean if I have an EZ that claims 65 hp and an injector that claims 40hp, do I now have an additional 105hp? The price on those injectors is REAL nice.

JUST A HEADS UP, Those are injector nozzles only, not the complete injector.

need to compare apples to apples not oranges :{

I installed 275's this weekend and I like em :)

curious though, my old oems were black with a build up

of a carbon sludge. is this normal?

I use a fuel additive for lubricity and thats it.

Thanks in advance :D

From Charlie's website: "These nozzles are exceptional because EVERY nozzle flows EXACTLY the same and the pop pressures are perfectly matched. "

That sentence is confusing, Charlie (I hope he's reading this thread... ). Nozzles to some people means... just the nozzles. Nozzles to other people means... the whole shooting match (nozzle/holder/etc. ).

The fact that he says that the pop pressures are matched would imply that you're getting the holders and nozzles as a completed assembly... since it's pretty hard to check pop pressures with just a nozzle.

Hey Matt! Thanks for the heads up, about time someone noticed. :) Of course the nozzles are being reviewed in the next TDR so it would only have been a matter of time, anyway.

Pop pressures depend to some degree on how close the nozzles are to each other (consostent machining tolerances). We are finding for example on the VW TDI that installing new Bosio nozzles on old holders brings the pop pressures right back in line even if the old nozzle/holder assemblies are worn and the pop pressures test unevenly. In other words, the old nozzles wear out differently, causing uneven pop pressures. THe Bosio nozzles are so close that they all pop the same- IF the holders haven't been shimmed. That's why we say the pop pressures and flow are perfectly even- and it's also why we're able to confidently offer do-it-yourself nozzle-only upgrades. The Bosch ones aren't this consistent, and the Chinese stuff can't hold a candle. The diesel shops that see the Bosio ones are usually not interested until they test them... there are too many "cheap 275's" or other modified nozzles based on the P820 out there that pop all over the place and flow all over the place, but not these, they're spot on. Still only the entry level upgrade, but top quality.

Nozzle swap is not conventional among the Dodge crowd, but- lots of VW folks have done it- they're all happy with the result. Changing nozzles is about as easy as changing spark plugs in a gasser, if you can pull your injectors, it is not much more to swap the nozzles and put 'em back in. Common rail might be a different story- pressures are much higher and the injectors are much less forgiving, good to test those ones first- but these 24v injectors are pretty simple.

What would the real world comparison in power be between the 275's and DDII's?

Gary,

I went from EZ to (EZ+275's) to

(EDGE COMP TAPPED + 275's) to

(EDGE COMP TAPPED + M1. 5's) Big difference in that step.

Now 85% of the time am at 1x3 (EZ level)

10% with the box off completely

5% well running strong.

I coudln't go back to 275's, 275's are great... . but if you have the bug at all it costs more to buy injectors twice. or three times.....

Looks likeI caused charlie some problems. Sorry guys. They are Nozzles not injectors. I wanted full injectors. While the price is great, For another $50 I'll take a whole new set of injectors.
