Bosch Injector

Calling all injector experts, I've taken some bosch injectors out of my cummins & replaced them with some POD's, Now my question is this I'm trying to identify the injectors that I removed,

Their Bosch KDAL 59 P2 952 245bar, above this identification # by the return orifice there is another #9522, and in a small oval there is a number . 937 this may be the hole size in the tip? there are only four holes in the tip I was expecting to see at least 5, I've exhausted my search on the Net trying to cross ref these with no luck, Maybe on here I hope

i have a set of the same injectors, was told they were from an 89 non i/c engine?

9mm injector OEM for 1989. The tip (nozzle) will have four no. s visable near the end of said tip. 7782



Some of the no. s you are looking at are a portion of the Cummins part number. The last four.

Yup after some scrubbing and the use of a magnifying glass I did find the #7782 on the tip, The previous owner had given me a line of bull then said that the injectors were installed about 50,000 miles ago and were some kind of higher H. P. injector for the 1990 Cummins,

Ok Link:::::::::::::: What would have been the stock injectors for a 1990 Cummins, Any reason why they would have been changed out?? ie: better performance/fuel mileage, I'm trying to figure out if these injectors were better or worse than the orginals,

They ARE the original injectors for the non charge air cooled engine. They may be new... however they are OEM. Not all bad. They are a nice injector. Flow pretty well. The POD units are a mild upgrade from the ones you pulled.
