Cheap Dyno Days in Portland.......

Komatsu Equipment

600 amps x 24 volts = 14,400 watts

where'd ya get 24v from? all the big 3 truck makers with diesel engines all use 12v starting systems. we have dual batteries, but that is for the extra amperage when in parallel. our batteries are not in series for a 24v system, and we have no series/parallel switch setup

The issue may come home here as well - because

Filitration IS THE ISSUE! Big fleets are seeing huge problems with the raising of the FP to 10,000 psi+ over over the older 14,000 psi units. The high pressures are causing particulates to impact the vulnerable fuel system just like when you slam a straw into an apple... pretty much the same principle. My point is that we haven't had ours out long enough - these pesky contaminants are a mess.....

Just a guess for the purposes of illustrating my point. Sorry to mislead!

Abrasive particles mixed into and delivered by ultra high pressure liquid is used to cut steel more effectively than an acetylene torch. I can see why particles in the fuel would be a problem.
