Bought a HID kit now what do I need to wire them up correctly

Hey ive read a few posts that people are having a hard time to get their HID lights work work properly. Some even have to use a seperate switch, which I dont want.



OK im gonna run into town tomarrow so what all do I need?

Relays, switchs... ect



I already have lots of wire and solderless connectors.



Does anybody have instructions that are Dodge spefic.



Im using the GP Thunder kit only lowbeam.



This is going in my 03 with factory foglights.

Iam installing the real HID's in my truck all custom. Joel at BriteBox is custom make me one for my application. It's tough with the computers controlling everything. Go to his website" baker automotive group"

You can email him tell him Don reffered you if thats the route you want to take . Good luck

Nevermind I researched it and figured it out. All you have to do is run the HID's off the fog light circut since its NOT controled by the computer. And have the headlight circut run the fog lights. It was super easy 2 hours of cutting and splicing.



The brite box sounds like a good alternitive for people who dont want to hassle with splicing wires. I priced out their bright box with fogzilla that's a lot of $$$ to pay to run both filiments with fog lights with stock bulbs, so add on another $130 for some nice PIAA bulbs.



My HID kit was $200 shipped from a DTR member, I my GP Thunder kit retails for $225... now they make a High/Low beam :{ Oh well Ill just deal with it

Glad you found a easy solution. I thought the Gov. had the conversion hid's taken off the market, hid's need to be in a projector setting to get optimum lighting. Let me know how they work

I figured they would be more than that... im gonna have to look into it. I have horrible night vision
