Hey guys,, I don't post much here, but just thought I'd drop a line with what I had bought. . (TooT-TooT,, Honkin' my horn
)
It's made by Brute Trailer's ( www.BruteTrailers.com )
Excellent people. Very Nice, and Sean has a Cummins 600 he uses to deliver these trailers.
It's a. .
45' FlatBed Deck, 53' Overall
6x6 Deck over the Gooseneck
Pierce Beam (6" lower than conventional flatbeds, and stronger)
2 12K axles, dual wheels, with Disc Brakes
LED lights
2 12K two-speed Jacks
12K Winch
Wood Deck
Painted ClearCoat, Metallic Blue
Coolest thing about the trailer...
The last 14' of deck will be Hydraulic DoveTail, with 14,000Lbs lifting capacity, power up, and power down.
When towing, the trailer wil be a true FlatBed, with 45' (plus the 6x6 neck Deck) of usable space, then, with a flip of the switch, the last 14" of it will hydraulicly power down to lower and create a long sloping ramp, that, with the "bumper" folding out on a cam, will have about 15. 5' of ramp.
That's 15. 5'' to travel up to the top of the 31" Deck.
Since my primary use for this trailer is to haul trucks, and cars (non-commercial), I wanted the deck to have the lowest approach angle as possible...
I want to use this trailer to haul my truck (and friends) to the dragstrip here, and to events (when I have time) around the country and I will also be using it to haul home broken cars and trucks from the track
I will also be using it to pick up trucks that need to be worked on, but not driven.
It will be long enough to fit two '03 4 door long bed trucks on, with a little room front and back.
It's not here yet, but I'll get some pics of it up when I get it. If it gets done by the 28th or 29th, Yall should be able to see it in Muncie ( www.ThunderInMuncie.com ) if not, then I'll get pictures when I get back home from Muncie.
