Bought Diesel for Less Than Regular Unleaded Gasoline Today

I bought diesel for $2. 81 this morning. Unleaded regular was running $2. 86 at the same station. Premium gasoline was over $3. 00. I wonder if this is going to be a new trend? Is anyone else seeing diesel being sold for less than regular gasoline at the same station?

Yep, unleaded is finally cresting Diesel over here also. Last time I went by, Diesel was at $2. 83 and 87 was at $2. 89. Havent seen that in a long time. I have seen Diesel as high as $3. 05 about 8 miles from that station at the truck stops.

Here in Central SC it has been running anywhere from 10 to 12 cents less per gallon. My 1500 has been sitting for that main reason, and the diesel is more fun to drive anyway.

Here in the Texas panhandle diesel is 3 cents less than gas. Thats great, but it's still about a buck higher than it ought to be. :{

I've been seriously frosted ever since diesel passed regular gas about two years ago. Must be a supply and demand thing. If it will stay below regular it is another sweet justification for owning this oil burner.

Here in Northern Utah, Diesel is anywhere from 40 to 60 cents higher than regular Gasolene!

That is what I am hoping. I traded in a GMC 3500 with a 454 and have been very lucky so far, but I am considering investing in the setup to change the nasty french fry oil into diesel. I just hope my baby doesn't get high cholestrol, she is big enough. LOL

i just paid 2. 73 for diesel and i think regular was 2. 79, maybe higher, i think my 17 mpg truck maybe around the same cost to drive as my chipped hotrod 24 mpg bimmer that uses preimum

i just filled up for 2. 69 here in central tx. regular unleaded was 2. 84.

Filled up today at my local unserviced pump (cheapest in town) $6. 13! How about that? Allright it's in Norway so just relax

Diesel in St. Louis is $2. 65 and gasoline is $2. 79, so dieselis cheaper for now. BUT, I am sure that the diesel will go way up again in early fall when they start making heating oil... . and don't forget about the ULSD... I read the other day that diesel could go up as high as another $. 50 a gallon when the low sulpher stuff hits the market place... . sure glad I just bought a new 5ht wheeler... . Oo.

$3. 09 for Diesel in Carson City, Nv. Highest on my trip back to the midwest last week was $3. 19 in Elko, Nv. Yikes!



I hope the trend of lower diesel vs gas prices finds it's way out West.
