2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Bought New Truck Today!

Well I can finally say I am a true member of TDR now. I have my very first Cummins Turbo diesel!



I bought a 1998 2500 4X4 with 12V and auto. This truck was super clean! I have had my eye on it for about a month and a half now and finally decided to go for it!

Surprised it sat around for a month since its a 98 QC 12v, even if it is the auto.

I looked at this truck but they would not give me I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER for my 95 . Guy acted like he wanted me to GIVE him my truck and not reciprocate on the 98.



It was one CLEAN truck!!!!! I am in the Pearland- Friendswood area myself. There are several other guys on here from the same general area, not to mention all in Houston and surrounding areas.



Great to have you on board Brandon, you will LOVE that truck.

I think it was a good price

I walked out the door TT&L for $14200. With the truck as clean as it was I think it was a pretty good deal. Man is it tight! I have to say after driving it to work this morning... ... ... AWESOME!!!!



I can not wait to start bombing. I will be paying it off first though so it moght be about 6 months before I can start:{



Hope that I can hook up with some of you all soon. To be specific I am in Sagemont. So if any of you guys are close lets get together.

GREAT price, not even close to what mine was. They wanted my truck plus $7,500. 00!!!!! Mine is diesel, no mods, LESS miles (133,000) at the time. Oh well, maybe someone was telling me I needed to keep mine .

Congrats on the truck. I'm new to the scene as well. Way back about a year ago I was looking to buy a new-to-me truck and I called the same dealership to talk about vehicles. They seemed helpful, but very proud of their stock. IAt the time I lived in Baton Rouge so it was a big deal for me to go all the way there if I didn' tclose a deal. In retrospect, I probably should have made the trip cause I wouldn't have ended up with my Duracrap. Oh well, lessons learned. I've got a real truck now anyway.
