Whats big, blue, noisy and ugly? My 92 CTD ext. cab 5speed.



What do the newer trucks have that mine doesn't? Shiney paint, 6 speeds, 24 valves, 4 doors, warrenties, ball joints, full time hubs, electric lift & injector pumps, and upside down transfer cases.



But, it's got electric locks, windows, cruise, intermittent wipers, rusty rockers, TDR stickers, and even hubcaps!



Coversation with my wife this morning; "The toyota tacoma gets about 17mpg, right?" "Yeah, that's about right. I know how to make it get 20 mpg, though... " I'm still laughing! I got "the look", and she said I'm "so funny", so its all good.



I'm gonna go hang out at the 1st gen forum for awhile and ask stupid questions. Thanks, TDR.

Welcome to the TDR. Happy to have another 1st Genner around. And, you do have ball joints in your D250- if you dont need them now, you will.

Dang! I thought they were kingpins... . whatta ya gotta do to make the swap? Will the Chevy d60 that's laying in my garage fit?

W250 (4x4) has king pins, D250 (4x2) has ball joints.
